About FOFA:
The Friends of Fine Arts is a group of parents, teachers and citizens that help in forming fundraisers for the various fine arts programs within the Dallas Center-Grimes school district.
FOFA provides financial support for the fine arts programs. This includes:
Speech Competition
Drama Performances
Jazz & Marching Band
Show & Jazz Choir
And many others!
Within the last three years (2017-2020), FOFA has been able to provide the following:
Show Choir Costumes
Tenor Saxophone
Marching Band Color Guard Flags
Drum Machine
Chimes for the Middle School
Xylophones for South Prairie Elementary School
Speech Coaches
FOFA also provides scholarships each school year to four graduating seniors!
The scholarships are $500 each. This means FOFA has granted $6,000 in scholarships throughout the last three school years!
None of the above would be possible without donations from our community.
