About FOFA
Friends of Fine Arts is a volunteer group of parents, teachers and citizens that help conduct fundraisers for the various fine arts programs within the Dallas Center-Grimes community school district.
FOFA provides college scholarships, and also meets needs not traditionally covered by the normal school budget, including:
Annual K-12 art and music teacher grants
Enriching “opera-tunities” such as clinics, guest performers and special event travel
Music, instruments, show choir accessories, award banquets, and contest support
Theater and speech coach stipends, audio and lighting
And many others!
FOFA provides a number of scholarships each spring to graduating seniors pursuing fine arts interests, ranging from $500 to $1000 each.
